NOVEMBER GOAL OF THE MONTH

16 December 2016

Vote for your November Goal of the Month

November’s Goal of the Month shortlist includes a last-minute winner, a stunning 25-yard strike and some great build-up play to put the icing on the cake in a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Here are this month’s nominees:

#GILLSGOTM1: Darren Oldaker scored his second professional goal against West Brom at the Hawthorns, curling the ball in from 25-yards.

#GILLSGOTM2: Jake Hessenthaler squeezed the ball in from an acute angle to get the Gills back in the FA Cup replay at Brackley Town.

#GILLSGOTM3: Jay Emmanuel-Thomas ensured the Gills took all three points away from Northampton right at the death, taking a touch before giving the ‘keeper no chance with an exquisite finish.

#GILLSGOTM4: Youth prospect Bradley Stevenson’s goal helped the Gills progress through to the FA Youth Cup fourth round, beating Oxford City 2-0 at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

#GILLSGOTM5: Mark Byrne was the beneficiary of an inch-perfect cross, courtesy of Rory Donnelly, as the Gills eased to a 3-0 victory over Rochdale at the end of November.
