TEAM NEWS

Apart from long-term absentee Cody McDonald, Justin Edinburgh has no fresh injury doubts ahead of tomorrow.
George Williams could make his debut for the Gills after joining on loan from Fulham. The striker was an unused sub last weekend in the victory against Barnsley.

Oldham have drawn their previous two matches 0-0 and are looking to escape the bottom four. The Latics are waiting for news on key defender Anthony Gerrard’s knee injury, after he hobbled off against Wigan last Tuesday and didn’t feature against Blackpool on Saturday.

First team coach Steve Lovell expects a different affair to the 3-3 draw back at Priestfield. Oldham have had lots of changes in their starting XI and brought in a new manager since the last meeting, which did affect their form. However, the Latics have had good results the past week and will be looking to build on their recent run of being unbeaten in 3 matches.

Lovell: It’s never easy going away, but we will go there prepared and ready to hopefully get a result.”

LAST TIME WE MET…

Gills were held at home for the first time of the 2015/16 season in an entertaining contest at Priestfield. Rory Donnelly grabbed a brace and Jake Hessenthaler’s equalizer on 57 minutes ensured both teams would leave with a share of the spoils.
In total the teams have met 44 times, with Gills winning 17, losing 21 and 6 draws.
