APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT THE GILLS

23 June 2016

Gillingham Football Club Community Sports & Education Trust is currently recruiting for seven new Apprentices to join the team.

In partnership with six schools in Kent we are looking for enthusiastic and trustworthy members of staff to join our successful Community Trust. The successful candidates will work as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant and Sports Coach on a variety of GFC Community Trust activities, including a specific school based placement at one of the following Schools Reculver Primary School in Herne Bay, Phoenix Junior Academy in Chatham, Wainscott Primary School in Rochester, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Canterbury, Oakfield Primary School in Dartford and Aycliffe Primary School in Dover, starting in September 2016.
 
Hours are determined by the school and will total 30 hours a week during the school term time with work on other GFCCT initiatives during school holidays. 
 
Pay will be £100 per week (apprentice wage). 
 
The successful candidate must have:
 
• The ability to work effectively with others as a competent team member.
• Previous involvement with your PE and School Sports network.
• Computer literacy/word processing skills.
• Good time management skills.
