We are looking to employ motivated, passionate and enthusiastic individuals to work within our hospitality team to assist in the match day and general event operations.

HOSPITALITY & MATCH DAY STAFF


Gillingham Football Club is looking to employ motivated, passionate and enthusiastic individuals to work within our fantastic hospitality and catering team to strengthen the match day experience for all of our supporters.


Who we are looking for: Maybe you are a student, football fan or someone who wants to work casually to earn some additional money in the week. If so, this could be the ideal position for you.


Experience: Experience is helpful but not essential.  If you don’t have any experience but want to join this vital team of match day staff then training will be provided to ensure you have the right tools to work in this fun and professional environment.


Roles across the team involve bar work, waiting, till work, cooking, prepping food and serving our fans and customers with great customer service.

Successful applicants will join our growing hospitality and events team.

MATCH DAY CHEFS


Priestfield is in need of experienced Chefs to cook for our match day kiosks. Ideal candidates will work well in high-output short-time frame situations, have competent quantity and quality control and will act to minimise wastage.


The main role of a match day kiosk chef is to prepare and cook the food while maintaining a clean and hygienic kiosk space. You will be in charge of ensuring food is prepared to a consistent and high standard while working with a team of match day staff who will be at the focus point of customer service.
To become a successful applicant you need to have:

    Minimum of NVQ 1 and 2 Level. Level 3 would be preferable but not necessary. Or a City and Guilds certificate.
    A Health and Hygiene certificate. (Level 2-3)
    Good people management
    Good Communication skills
    Good hygiene practices
    Good motivation and planning skills

KIOSK MANAGER


Gillingham Football Club is looking to employ a motivated, passionate and enthusiastic kiosk manager to assist in the operation of the catering outlets around Priestfield stadium throughout the season.


Who we are looking for: We are looking for a strong individual who has experience in running food outlets and managing a team of staff. The candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to communicate to a variety of staff of all ages. They will have an understanding of food, hygiene and catering service in general.


Experience is helpful but not necessarily essential.  If you don’t have the exact experience but feel your qualities match the criteria then training will be provided to ensure you have the right knowledge and tools to work in this vibrant and professional environment.

There is also the opportunity for successful applicants to also join our growing hospitality and events team.
