Manager Ady Pennock and Director of Football Peter Taylor have been hard at work over the past few weeks bolstering the squad ahead of the new season and have completed five signings to date.
Alex Lacey, Luke O’Neill, Tom Eaves and Conor Wilkinson have all put pen to paper on two-year contracts while Josh Parker agreed terms to extend his stay at the club until the end of the 2018/19 campaign. Elliott List has agreed a one-year contract, with Gabriel Zakuani joining on a similar deal after turning down a new offer at Northampton.
Other signings are on the horizon and Chairman Paul Scally is confident the new look squad can achieve good things. He said: “I am incredibly confident about the future of Gillingham FC, and if we all continue to remain upbeat while generating a positive and encouraging atmosphere inside MEMS Priestfield Stadium, I know we can achieve great things both on and off the pitch for this club in the near future.

“As part of our continued attempts to make football accessible for children and teenagers, we have reduced the price of our under-18 season tickets by £15 to just £140 when booked during our early bird offer.
“This works out at just £6 a game, which I’m sure you will all agree is exceptional value. We have restructured our ticketing categories as a result; owing to a lack of demand we have amalgamated the under-12 price point into the under-18 category.
“However, due to the success of our promotional offers this season, and the feedback we have received from our supporters, any full-paying adult can claim one FREE under-12 ticket when purchasing an individual match day ticket."

- Two free tickets for any 2017/18 league fixture (excluding Charlton and Southend).
- 10% off all items in the club megastore (excludes on sale merchandise).
- Six free season ticket transfers to a guest for games you cannot attend. *
- 10% off soccer schools (only available to under-18 season ticket holders).
- Half-price mascot package (maximum two purchased per adult season ticket holder).
* Under-18 season ticket holders can only transfer their books to those in the same age category.
