The 2016/17 Sky Bet League One season has delivered great excitement for Gillingham Football Club, be it from beating Premier League Watford at Vicarage Road in the EFL Cup and setting up a trip to Tottenham's White Hart Lane, to Josh Wright’s nine-minute hat-trick of penalties against Scunthorpe United on March 11.
This season’s events will be celebrated at our annual Player of the Year awards night, which takes place from 7pm on Sunday, April 30 at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium. Our Great Hall will hold the main event, a black tie-dinner that will serve as a full appreciation of the team’s achievements over the last eight months.
The night will include:
- A three-course fine dining experience.
- Live band and disco.
- Presentation of the club’s awards, including the Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year, Sponsors Player of the Year, Goal of the Season and the Elliott Scally Cup.
- A chance to meet with Gillingham Football Club players and staff,
Tickets for this exclusive event cost £60+VAT per person, or £500+VAT for a table of 10.
The Gills came from behind to beat Watford 2-1 in the EFL Cup back in August
Supporters can also join us in the Factory from 5pm, where we will have guest ales, great prices and live football on our HDTV screens.
