MELA launch a success at Priestfield.
Earlier this week over 200 guests descended on the Great Hall at MEMS Priestfield Stadium to mark the launch of MELA, the Medway Educational Leaders Association.
MELA aims to bring education leaders in Medway together for the very first time where Headteachers from across the area can liaise and suggest improvements for the future.
Chairman Paul Scally and Director of Business Development Graham Holmes were in attendance with several guest speakers taking to the stage to explain their vision for the association.
A series of workshops were put on during the course of the day where attendees could share information on a variety of subjects, including leadership wellbeing and improvement priorities.
The day culminated with a three-course Christmas meal in our `Alice in Winterland` themed Great Hall.
Following the launch the Chairman said: “It was a great occasion to be a part of and it was so inspirational to see so many Headteachers across Medway speaking about how passionate they were for education and what we could achieve together in the future.”
