Dean Parrett (hamstring) and Josh Rees (ankle) are still unavailable for selection but they are getting closer to match fitness. Conor Wilkinson received a knock in training earlier in the week but should be available.
Steve Lovell has no other injury or suspension concerns.
Steve Lovell – “Coventry are a good club and Mark Robins has done an excellent job. We need to make sure we are prepared properly.
“We are not going to change the way we play and we will concentrate on ourselves.”
Mark Robins - “Gillingham is going to be a tough game, but it’s one that we are looking forward to and looking forward to putting in a better performance than Tuesday night.
“There's plenty of cause for optimism. The two Tuesday games have been poor, but the Saturday games have been really promising and I expect a better performance tomorrow.”
The Gills last met Coventry City on Saturday 18 February 2017 at the Ricoh Arena where Gills were defeated 2-1 thanks to goals from Kwame Thomas and George Thomas. The reverse fixture at Priestfield resulted in another 2-1 win, this time in Gills favour, with Max Ehmer and Billy Knott getting the goals.
In total the sides have met on 53 occasions. Coventry edge the statistics with 26 wins to 16.
