Saturday's match postponed.
Gillingham’s Sky Bet League 1 fixture against Rotherham United, which was due to be played on Saturday March 3 at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, has been postponed due to heavy snow.
Match officials inspected the pitch on Thursday morning where the decision was made to call the game off, with more snow predicted to fall in the next 24 hours.
An early call was made to inconvience as few people as possible with the health and safety of both sets of players and supporters firmly in mind.
A rearranged date for the fixture will now be agreed by both clubs, and we will announce the new date at the earliest possible opportunity.
Please also note the club offices are closed today (Thursday) and are likely to be closed on Friday too. However, tickets and merchandise can still be purchased online.
