We require a PE teacher to deliver a combination of core PE and examination courses including, but not limited to, BTEC and Sportsleaders Awards.
The GFC School is a Pupil Referral Unit and applicants must demonstrate skills in understanding the needs of students who have found it challenging to work in mainstream education, especially developing students’ self-esteem, together with their skills in reading, writing, English and Mathematics.
Particular wider subject expertise would be an advantage, as the school is seeking to enrich students’ learning, so that they experience a broad and exciting curriculum as The GFC School develops and expands.
- In all parts of the school, you will need to have a passionate desire to help students to achieve their very best in their academic, social, physical and wider development.
- In addition to meeting teachers’ standards, applicants must have a well-developed knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and experience of working in partnership with external agencies.
