Kevin Bond's team to visit Priestfield in July.
Gillingham will play Southend United at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in a pre-season friendly on Friday July 26, 7pm kick-off.
Steve Evans is putting the finishing touches to his pre-season plans and has added the League 1 side to the existing list of friendlies which can be viewed below.
The first of these games will take place against Faversham Town at Salters Lane on Tuesday July 9 (7.45).
A game against Chatham Town at Bauvill Stadium has also been organised for Friday July 19 (7pm), although this will mainly feature U23/Youth team players.
