Gills welcome Cambridge to Priestfield for pre-season friendly

The Gills return to action at MEMS Priestfield Stadium for the first time in over five months as they welcome Cambridge to ME7 for a friendly.

25 August 2020

Steve Evans and his management staff continue their preparations ahead of the 2020/21 campaign with a home fixture against Cambridge.

Gillingham are back in action this afternoon when they welcome Cambridge United to MEMS Priestfield Stadium for a pre-season friendly.

The game will kick-off at 1pm and, naturally, it is being played behind closed doors.

This will be the fourth warm-up game for Steve Evans’ men as they prepare for the opening game of the 2020/21 season, which will be against Southend United in the Carabao Cup on Saturday September 5 at MEMS Priestfield Stadium (1pm).

We endeavour to stream today’s game via YouTube, however we will confirm whether this is possible once the equipment is up and running at the stadium.
