Sky Sports News will conduct the first round draw of the Carabao Cup.
Gillingham will be ball number 15 in the southern section for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup first round draw.
The draw, which is unseeded, will be conducted on Sky Sports News at 10am with 70 teams in the hat.
The Gills played Newport County in the first round last season but lost on penalties after the game finished 2-2 at MEMS Priestfield Stadium; the club hasn’t got past the opening stage since 2016.
The fixtures for the 2020/21 Sky Bet League 1 campaign are released this coming Friday at 9am, while the draw for the first round of the EFL Trophy will be made on TalkSport at 1.30pm tomorrow.
The format for the Trophy remains unchanged.
