Steve Evans has written a message to all Gills fans on Transfer Deadline Day.
“We have, as of 7pm this evening, concluded our transfer business in respect of incoming players.
“We had agreed, in principle, to sign one other player but his club changed the terms an hour past, so we move on.
“Ideally we would have added one more player to the squad, but it was not to be.
“Our transfer business in this window has been very strategic, focused, and I am sure adds good things to what is already a very talented and hard working squad of young men.
“We are looking forward to the many challenges over the next few weeks and months. My Chairman has been totally supportive in what is challenging times for a number of football clubs.
“We are in this together, that said takes only a couple of seconds, but in reality as it is here, it means so much more.
"I wanted to let our supporters know that our business is concluded.
"In addition, I would like another fans' forum. Communication and relationships with our supporters is key and means so much to me.
"If our supporters want the forum then let us sort a date."
