The first round draw for the Emirates FA Cup takes place on Monday October 26.
Gillingham will be ball number 20 for tonight’s Emirates FA Cup first round draw.
The event will be broadcast live on BT Sport, and via the FA Cup’s Twitter and Facebook feeds at 7.10pm, prior to the fourth qualifying round tie between Bishops Stortford and St Albans City.
In total, there are 40 fixtures to be drawn, with clubs from Leagues 1 and 2 entering at this stage. Premier League and Championship teams enter from round three. Gills beat Sunderland via a replay last season, and Doncaster Rovers, to set up a home tie against West Ham United at MEMS Priestfield Stadium. Gillingham put in a solid performance in front of the TV cameras, but lost 2-0.
