First-year pro signs for Margate on one-month loan.
Toby Bancroft has signed for Margate on loan until October 8.
The forward, who was offered a one-year professional contract at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in the summer, has agreed a short-term deal in order to get regular game time under the management of Jay Saunders.
Toby, 19, impressed during the latter stages of the 2019/20 campaign and scored after coming on as a sub in the 5-1 win over Dover Athletic in the Kent Senior Cup in March just days before lockdown was imposed.
Bancroft played for Gate last weekend during a pre-season friendly against Tonbridge Angels, and is set to make his competitive debut against Brightlingsea Regent this Saturday.
