A trip to Essex awaits the Gills.
Gills make the trip to Essex on Saturday afternoon to take on Southend United in their final pre-season friendly before the new league campaign begins.
The Shrimpers, now under the management of former Gills midfielder Kevin Maher, finished 13th in the National League last season.
The two teams last met in a competitive fixture in September 2020 when Connor Ogilvie's goal was enough to give Gills a 1-0 win in the opening round of the Carabao Cup at ME7.
Saturday's friendly is a 3pm kick-off, ticket prices as follows:
