The fixture may have come too soon for Gerald Sithole, who continues to recover from a hamstring strain. Ben Thompson (foot) should be okay to start, provided he comes through training without an issue.

Gary McSheffrey is likely to make changes following the 4-0 defeat at Cheltenham. Adam Clayton is suspended for Saturday after being sent off in the game.

Tom Anderson and Cameron John will both be mising. Charlie Seaman could return to the matchday squad, having missed the last few fixtures due to injury.

Manager Comments:

Neil Harris - "Saturday is a huge game. Every game is difficult at this stage of the season.

"There is pressure on everybody, but we have prepared to win a game of Football.

"Saturday is a big game. I'd like to be on the pitch with the players, but I have to pass the experiences on."

Gary McSheffrey - “The lads have got to turn up and win their battles individually and collectively. If they look in the mirror after the game and they've left it all out there, I’d like to think that should be enough.”

Previous Meetings:

The two sides last met last October at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium. Gills came out on top on the day thanks to a late Vadaine Oliver goal, which ensured a crucial 1-0 win.

Gillingham’s last away victory at Doncaster came in December 2014. Luke Norris was the hero on that day as a second half brace was enough to ensure all three points despite a late Curtis Main penalty.
