The likes of Jake Turner, Elkan Baggott, Lewis Walker, Alex MacDonald and Jo Gbode could all feature as Brighton bring their U21 side to ME7.

Team News:

Jake Turner is likely to start in goal as he has for every cup game this season. Dom Jefferies (quad) could feature while Josh Chambers is available if match fit. Lewis Walker, Alex MacDonald and Elkan Baggott are all in contention to start.

James Beadle, Ed Turns, Odeluga Offiah, Andrew Moran, Jack Hinshelwood and Jack Spong should all retain their place in the Brighton team after they started in the 2-1 loss to Colchester.

Neil Harris- “I will try not to disrespect the competition on Tuesday to make sure we don’t get fined. I’ve got to make sure that we focus on Crewe next week.”

Tuesday will be the first time that Gillingham have played Brighton’s Under 21 side.

The last time Gillingham met Brighton in a competitive match came in August 2011 in the League Cup. Ashley Barnes scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot.
