Academy Player of the Year is won by striker Joe Gbode.
Joe Gbode has won Gillingham Football Club's "Academy Player of the Year" for the 2022/23 season.
The striker, who turned 18 years old earlier in the month, was presented his trophy by Academy manager, Bryan Bull, after earning his first professional contract in March.
Gbode has enjoyed two prolific loan spells with Hastings United earlier this term, having also featured for Margate, and made his full Gills debut against Crawley in November 2022.
He then started against Dagenham & Redbridge in the FA Cup four days later, and was the youth team's top goal scorer in 2021/22.
