Robbie McKenzie has won the Carabao Cup player of the first round award following his brace against Southampton at Priestfield.
The Gills won the game 3-1 to cause a first round shock, and were rewarded with an away tie against Luton in the second round. Neil Harris' side put in an excellent display but were narrowly defeated 3-2 at Kenilworth Road.
It was the third Premier League team the Gills have come up against in the competition over the last 12 months having defeated Brentford on penalties last season, before losing out to Wolves 2-0 at Molineux.
McKenzie, who could have had a hat-trick on the night having seen one goal disallowed, was presented with his trophy at the stadium.
