GFC School staff complete Mount Snowdon climb for Comic Relief

Four members of school staff climb Mount Snowdon.

Adventurous staff members from The GFC School scaled Mount Snowdon in aid of Comic Relief.

The four intrepid climbers met up at Priestfield Stadium at 11:30pm the night before the ascent to set out for Wales and the 1,085 meter mountain.

"It was an amazing experience," reflected organising staff member Tom Creed. "It was a gruelling journey but I am so proud of our team of climbers for making it to the top and raising a good amount of money for a worthy cause."

School students didn't let the adults do all the work as they walked, cycled and rowed a combined 277 miles which replicated the journey from the steps of Priesfield Stadium to the base of the mountain.
