Bob was a goalkeeper that appeared seven times in a Gillingham shirt, but didn't have a particularly successful spell in Kent.

He conceded 11 goals in the space of a fortnight, and three days after a 6-1 hammering at the County Ground he was sent back to Shrewsbury.
