Ross Flitney joins the Community Team on a visit to Demelza House
The Gillingham FC Community Team and Gills keeper Ross Flitney showed their support for the ‘Holding On, Letting Go’ weekend programme with a recent visit to Demelza House.The ‘Holding On, Letting Go’ charity aims to help children of all ages through the difficult period of losing a loved one, assisted by the dedicated and highly professional charity.
Over the course of the weekend the children take part in a variety of activities designed to help them express how they have dealt with their loss.
During lunch time on the Saturday, Ross joined a number of kids in a game of football, before heading inside where Ross signed autographs.
We look forward to our next weekend visit in the New Year and to showing our support for such a wonderful cause.
