GFC welcome the children from Kingfisher Primary School
Recently we were visited by a group of children from local school Kingfisher Primary. They came along to take part in a ground tour as part of a school activity week where they got to visit different places of interest and join in various activities in the local community.The kids were shown around by Adam and Nick from the Community Department and saw behind the scenes of the conference and banqueting facilities as well as the changing rooms, gym and executive boxes.
There were lots of opportunities for questions and the kids were keen to learn all about what life is like inside a professional football club. As a special surprise the group were given the opportunity to interview first team players Ross Flitney and Jake Hessenthaler in the media room. A lucky few also asked for autographs from the pair.
Thanks to everyone from Kingfisher Primary that attended our ground tour and we hope to see you all again soon.
