Find out when the draw for the Capital One Cup takes place
It has been announced that the 2013-14 Capital One Cup First Round draw will take place on Monday 17th June 2013.The draw will be both seeded, based on last season’s league tables, and regionalised, and will consist of 70 Football League clubs.
QPR will feature in the draw but the two highest placed relegated clubs from the Premier League, Reading and Wigan Athletic, will be seeded though to Round 2 and Round 3 respectively.
Last season the Gills won 2-1 at Bristol City in the First Round, thanks to goals from Danny Kedwell and Ben Strevens, before being beaten by Middlesbrough here at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in Round Two.
