Gills midfielder hoping to achieve result at Bristol City after strong display at Oldham goes unrewarded

“He’s kept us out and unfortunately they got the victory.


“It was disappointing with the result but there were a lot of positives out of the performance. I think everyone played really well.


“We’ve had two disappointing results in the last two games so we are definitely going to try and put that right and start right like we did on Saturday.”



Steve Cotterill's side provide the opposition at the weekend and Steven feels now is a good time to play the Robins.


He added: “They are in a similar position to us, a bit further down but we will be looking to go down there and take all three points.


“There is a lot of confidence now in the side – the squad is there and the competition for places is there so I think now is a good time to play them.”
