Gills have added to their defensive options ahead of this weekend's game against Coventry City

Gillingham have completed the signing of West Bromwich Albion left back Bradley Garmston on a one month emergency loan deal.

The defender comes in as cover for Joe Martin who has recently been suffering with a calf injury, and is eligible for tomorrow's Sky Bet League One game against Coventry at Priestfield.

Garmston, 20, has come through the youth system at the Hawthorns but has yet to make his competitive debut for the Premier League side.

However he has been out on loan once before, making 13 appearances for Colchester United during the 2012/13 season.

In addition he also has represented the Republic of Ireland at U17, U19 and U21 level.

Bradley has been given squad number 2 and is available up to, and including, the Gills home fixture against MK Dons on February 14.

There is no recall clause in the deal and the player is available for JPT fixtures.
