Gillingham FC are giving young players an excellent opportunity to earn a one year development contract at MEMS Priestfield Stadium
Think you could be the next Bradley Dack or Jake Hessenthaler? Do you believe you have what it takes to succeed in the world of professional Football?Well, here is your chance. Gillingham FC are holding open trials next month as we begin our search to find at least one talented youngster who will earn a full time one-year development contract with the club.
Our search will be divided into three separate phases, with successful candidates being invited to join in with pre-season training in July.
Please note this process is only open to players born between September 1, 1996 and August 31 1997 (U19 next season).

These open trials are for any players wishing to apply via the above form. However applications will be vetted by our staff to maintain the highest standards of play, and only acceptance by return email will act as permission for the player to attend the day.
Applications are invited from:
All players that are being released by their professional clubs’ apprenticeship programme. Evidence of release will be required along with contacts of coaching staff or EWO’s.
All players at local non-league/amateur/school level that can demonstrate excellence, either with testimony from club coaches or Head of Sport at the relevant educational establishments. Evidence of level played will be required e.g. Conference Youth League/County Schools/County Youth representative teams and National Schools representative teams.
All players will receive a response to their application from our club whether acceptance is positive or negative.
All senior coaching staff from Gillingham Football Club will be in attendance.
Should you progress to phase two you will be invited back for an in house game with our development squad, and if you are successfully put through to phase three you will join the first team squad for pre-season training where final decisions will be made.
