Bradley Garmston (hamstring) and Conor Wilkinson (knee) could both feature against Rovers after overcoming respective injuries. Alex Lacey (ankle) is back to full fitness but Billy Bingham (leg) remains a long-term absentee.
As for Rovers they have no fresh injury concerns but Ollie Clarke and Chris Lines are pushing for a starting place.
Steve Lovell – “Some teams will come to us and put men behind the ball. We will start the game in a certain way and change things if it's not right.
“It’s a game we are looking forward to, we have competition for places and hopefully we can clinch all three points.”
Darrell Clarke – “Let’s hope we can put on a show; there will be a few fans going across. For me, it will be a tough game and everything goes out of the window come Saturday at three o’clock.”
The clubs last met at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Good Friday (April 14) when two late Cody McDonald goals gave the Gills a crucial victory in their quest to avoid relegation.
Josh Wright had put the hosts 1-0 up but Billy Bodin equalised nine minutes later to swing the momentum in Rovers’ favour. However McDonald sealed all three points with a stoppage time brace.
In total the two teams have met on 103 occasions. Rovers have won 45 games with Gillingham clinching 39 victories.
