KICK OFF, 3PM

Team News:

Gills will be without Gabriel Zakuani for Saturday’s game having been substituted early in Tuesday’s fixture against Rotherham with a knock to the head.

Bradley Garmston will also miss the game through injury.

Rhys Murphy and Frank Moussa could come back into the match squad having missed the last three matches with respective niggles.

Captain Lee Martin will be making his return to the team after missing the last four games through suspension.

Having returned to training during the week, Blackpool’s Kelvin Mellor and Jim McAlister will be hoping to be fit enough to make Saturday’s squad.

Manager Comments:

Steve Lovell - “There are three games to go. We’ve got to try and get back to some sort of normality and give the crowd something to cheer about.

“There will definitely be changes.

"Blackpool are having a good run and they're safe. It will be tough but it's another challenge."

Gary Bowyer- “They’re at home and they play a certain way. We’re going to have to match that there, but at the same time show what we’re about and the confidence from winning three in a row.

"Hopefully we can go and carry on the way that we’ve been playing in those three games.”

Previous Meeting:

The sides drew earlier in the season at Bloomfield Road as a stoppage time Tom Eaves header allowed the Gills to return to ME7 with a point.

The last time both sides met at Priestfield was in September 2015 and it was Gillingham who were victorious as Doug Loft and Bradley Dack scored in a 2-1 victory.

In the 36 times the sides have met it is Blackpool who have come out with the better record of 13 wins in comparison to the Gills ten. The game has ended in a stalemate on ten occasions.

Odds:

Gillingham win - 21/10

Draw - 21/10
