An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the events team at MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

Our Conference and Banqueting team has a vacancy for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable sales coordinator to join the existing team.

Gillingham Football Club is a multifaceted business; our first team play in Sky Bet League 1 of the EFL, our ladies side play in the south division of the FA National Women’s League, we have boys and girls academies, we have a school on site, a 500 seater banqueting hall, a pub and 20,000ft2 of conferencing space.  

We are in the process of refurbishing our facilities.  In addition we are introducing new technology, systems and websites to increase efficiency and to drive sales. 

We pride ourselves on providing excellent service across all levels of our Conference and Banqueting Department. We are currently looking for an Events Sales Coordinator to join our thriving team. The position involves dealing with all enquiries across conference and banqueting from the initial enquiry through to hand over with our operations team.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and confident individual with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar sales role who can help us implement our vision for the future.

Training will be provided where necessary.

Applicants should have a knowledge of safeguarding and/or be willing to be trained in this area.

Salary dependent on experience
