Connor Ogilvie has signed for fellow League 1 side Portsmouth ahead of the new season.
Portsmouth have signed former Gills defender, Connor Ogilvie, ahead of the new season.
The 25-year-old former Tottenham academy graduate has been training with the Gills for the last couple of weeks having turned down a new offer at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in May, but with just a few days to go until the new season, he has now elected to join Pompey on a two-year contract.
During his time at the club he made 171 appearances and scored 10 goals, including the "Goal of the Season winner" against Charlton Athletic earlier this year.
Gillingham FC would like to thank Connor for his services, and we wish him well for the future.
Thank you for all the amazing memories; cup runs, last minute winners, but most importantly all the support: from the lads, the staff, the Gaffer and the fans 💙.— Connor Ogilvie (@Connor_Ogilvie) May 14, 2021
I wouldn’t be the player I have become today if it wasn’t for all your help. 2/6
