School students pay a visit to the O2 in London.
The O2 Arena has played host to some of the best known sports teams and athletes from around the world but last Thursday it was GFC students who became the stars there.
P.E students and GFC teachers stepped into the immersive world of TOCA Social, an interactive football experience located at the venue, and they let their brightly coloured boots do the talking.
Striking balls off a high-quality artificial pitch to hit a giant screen to smash bricks, hit targets and earn points proved to be an exciting sporting event and social experience as they tested their shooting accuracy in a variety of football skills challenges.
“Our students conducting themselves so well, rose to every challenge and had an amazing time,” said PE teacher Craig Wildman. “They really appreciated the opportunity to go up to London and have this memorable school trip.”
