1934 - Bill Baldwin, Wilf Crompton, Richard Doncaster, Albert Orr, Campbell Whyte and JA Wiggins were debutants versus Torquay  
1945 - In the Sheppey game, JE Ling played his first game 
1984 - Defenders Joe Hinnigan and Keith Oakes made their Gills bow against Newport 
1986 - In the Northampton League Cup tie, Mel Eves made his debut 
1990 - Joe Dunne played his first Gills game against Darlington 

1923 - Jimmy Greenhalgh 
Northerner Jimmy played for Hull City, Bury, and Wigan Athletic before arriving at Priestfield as player-coach under Archie Clark in July 1956 
His debut came at Ipswich two months later, the first of 17 appearances in which he scored once in the home game with Newport. 
After leaving Gillingham he has held various roles, trainer at Lincoln City, Newcastle United and Middlesbrough, chief scout at Sunderland and manager at Darlington
