Gillingham FC Foundation's Primary School Programmes support children and young people to be the best version of themselves. We work to inspire young people to enjoy the habit of physical activity and use sport to support their personal and educational development.

Evidence shows that children and young people who are more active have more confidence, higher self-esteem, less anxiety and stress, and better social skills. Please contact us to learn about programmes we can deliver to your pupils.

PE Delivery 

The Foundation has an experienced team that delivers lessons in line with the National PE Curriculum for Key Stage 1-4. Schools committing to PE delivery automatically qualify for the Gills Foundation Squad and will receive an exclusive squad number and signed shirt with the school name on the back of the shirt! 

Lunchtime and After School Clubs 

Encouraging children to take part in extra-curricular activities, the Foundation organise the programme with the school to suit their needs and compliment the PE delivery programme.

PHSE 

The Foundation has a range of PHSE workshops to support the school’s curriculum objectives. Ranging from Healthy Eating to Diversity & Inclusion, the workshops can be delivered at school or incorporated into a visit to MEMS Priestfield Stadium.

  • Tours of MEMS Priestfield Stadium with the opportunity for PHSE / themed workshops at the stadium
  • Annual School Tournament at MEMS Priestfield Stadium
  • Dedicated GFC First Team player as your School Ambassador
  • Priority access to the annual Gillingham FC local tournament of the Utilita EFL National Kids Cup, with the winners competing for a chance to play at Wembley Stadium in the EFL League 2 Play-off finals
