Get active and show your support for the Gills Community Trust

On Wednesday 29th October the M.E.T.A. Team are hosting the Uber Fundraising Bootcamp, giving you the chance to get active as well as support the Gillingham FC Community Trust!

As you may know, Medway had the highest childhood obesity rating in the country this year, and the Community Trust have teamed up with local business M.E.T.A. to try to change this.

Head Trainer and Director of M.E.T.A. Ross Cowan said: “Our goal is always to change the lives of the people in our community by improving their lifestyles.

"With our 24 hour endurance race in Las Vegas coming up in less than four weeks we want to raise serious money for charity.  We are proud to announce that this money is going directly to The Gillingham F.C. Community Sports and Education Foundation.

"The charity supports local families and will help them to learn more about the benefits of exercising and making healthier lifestyle choices. We would be so proud to be able to change these stats by next year and feel so strongly this partnership can achieve just that.”

But, we need your help!  By coming along to this one hour Bootcamp you can do your part in changing the lives of the families in Medway.  So, bring a friend, why not two and spend an hour getting fit and having fun with The M.E.T.A. Team to make a difference in your community.
