Gillingham’s home fixture against Reading in the Checkatrade trophy will take place on Tuesday November 7 (7.45).
The Gills have been placed in the same group as the Royals, with the club also visiting the Madejski Stadium in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday August 8.
Southend United and Colchester United are Gills other opponents in the group stages, with details of those matches to follow.
