Gills kitchen receives five star rating for the second time.
Gillingham Football Club is delighted to announce that our main kitchen and catering department, who provide food across the whole stadium, has retained its five rating.
The Environmental Health Officer visited MEMS Priestfield Stadium for our home fixture against Scunthorpe United where all food outlets and preparation areas were thoroughly checked and inspected.
They were present to watch service being carried out and ensured temperatures for all food were correct.
Relevant paperwork is also looked at which must adhere to the rules and regulations of the organisation.
Following their investigation they gave the club a five rating, the best mark a kitchen can be awarded.
On receiving the news Executive Chef Richard Tutt said: “The award is testament to the hard work that everybody puts in behind the scenes at Priestfield.
“We all work extremely hard to offer the best possible service to our customers while also ensuring our food preparation areas are kept to our own high standards and we are delighted that our hard work has resulted in a five star rating for the second time in a row."
