Gillingham FC would like to wish Noel Mbo all the best having left the club by mutual consent.
Noel Mbo has today mutually agreed, along with the club, to cancel his contract at Priestfield Stadium with immediate effect.
The 19-year-old, who signed a new one-year deal last summer, recently enjoyed a brief trial spell with Swedish side Helsingborgs having played twice for Gills this season, starting in the 2-1 win over Crawley in the Checkatrade Trophy before coming on as a sub late on in the 2-0 win over Portsmouth on Boxing Day.
Having come through the club’s academy programme Noel went on to score once in three professional first team games, his goal coming in the 7-5 victory over Reading in the EFL Trophy last season.
