Gills boss Steve Evans hoping a couple of players shake off minor knocks ahead of trip to Sixfields.
Gillingham will look to finish the 2020 calendar year in style by securing all three points against Northampton Town at Sixfields Stadium on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
Steve Evans' men didn't have a game on Boxing Day due to Peterborough United being unable to fulfil the fixture due to COVID-19 regulations, but this has allowed a few players to gain some extra recovery time following the 4-1 win over Rochdale last week.
Northampton, under the management of Keith Curle, gained promotion from Sky Bet League 2 last season, and take on the Gills for the first time since February 2018.
The fixture will be available to stream via iFollow for a one-off fee of £10. The game will be played behind closed doors.
We would like to make fans aware that you may notice a change to your regular Gills’ commentary teams over the next few games, as a result of travel restrictions in and out of Tier 4 areas, the BBC is minimising reporter movements around the country.
However, along with the usual TV feed, you will still receive live match commentary and match graphics. The game kicks off at 7.45pm, and match passes are available right now by clicking here, or via the below graphic.
