Important changes being made to iFollow process for season ticket holders

One-off streaming codes will no longer be sent out to season ticket holders for iFollow access.

29 October 2020

Please be aware of the below changes to the way iFollow access will work for live feed of matches.

Changes are being made to the way season ticket holders will access first-team home fixtures via iFollow.

Up until now, supporters were sent one-off codes which were redeemable via the website which then allowed the user to access the video match pass free of charge, however this process has been altered by the EFL starting with Saturday’s home fixture against Sunderland (1pm kick-off).

No longer will codes be required and EFL Digital will be moving to an email based solution. The ticketing team at Gillingham Football Club have submitted our database of season ticket holders to the EFL, and those fans will be matched against existing iFollow accounts.

Any season ticket holder with an iFollow account will have access to all relevant games, automatically granted in their account.

Going forward, fans will simply need to log in to their account to view the games they are entitled to see.

If your email addresses on iFollow and within our database do not match, you will simply need to register for a new account with iFollow by selecting the Basic Pass (which is free of charge) and filling out the required details. It is important that you use the same email address as the one you have registered with our ticket office.

CLICK HERE to re-register on iFollow, please select the ‘Register Now’ button underneath the ‘Basic Pass’ section.

If you have more than one Season Ticket registered to the same email address with us, don’t worry because the team at EFL Digital will allow you access on separate devices up to the amount of supporters who share that email address. For example, if a parent or guardian has setup their two children’s account with the same email address, they will be able to watch, using the same login, on three separate devices.

The changes will come into effect immediately.

We have been informed that all season ticket holder details will be ingested into the EFL system on October 29, ahead of the games taking place on October 31.

Please note all season ticket holders MUST have registered with iFollow with the same email address as held on our season ticket database. If you are not sure about this, please email ticketoffice@priestfield.com quoting your name, postal address and customer number and our team can assist you. They can also confirm if your email address has been submitted to EFL Digital for registration.

Our team will endeavour to reply to all emails, however if you have submitted updated details assume these have been received and actioned.

Once you have either registered for a new account, or logged in to your existing one, you should have a “Watch Now” button available via the match centre approximately 10 minutes before kick-off. No longer will you be sent codes, and all previous ones are now invalid.

We understand that hundreds of fans will be logging on at the same time, and very close to kick-off. We would suggest logging into your account a couple of hours prior to kick-off to see if you can view full match replays. If you can, then you shouldn't have any issues. If you have any technical problems then iFollow@efl.com is the best address to use, or go to the home page of the website and use the live chat function.

Please be aware that data shared with EFL is purely to allow access to the iFollow platform. Gillingham Football Club has abided by all GDPR regulations regarding this matter.
