Stephen Clemence has added to his forward options with the capture of Jorge Cabezas Hurtado from Watford on loan.
Gills have captured the signature of Watford striker, Jorge Cabezas Hurtado, on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Hornets officially last summer on a deal until 2029, has been on loan with Independiente Medellin and New York Red Bulls over the last 12 months but will now stay at Priestfield until the end of April.
Jorge has represented Colombia at U20 level and began his career with Real Cartagena, making his professional debut in April 2021. Eighteen months later and it was announced that the striker had agreed to join Watford, with his contract officially beginning in the summer of 2023.
He made his Hornets debut last month during a 2-1 win over Chesterfield at Vicarage Road, coming on as a second half substitute.
We officially welcome Jorge to the club.
