The club can confirm the signing of midfielder, Kadeem Harris, ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 33-year-old winger arrives at ME7 having left Salford City following the expiration of his contract.
Kadeem began his career with Wycombe Wanderers and made his professional debut at the age of 16 in a League One fixture at Yeovil in December 2009. He then featured off the bench against Gillingham later that same season at Adams Park.
He made 26 appearances for the Chairboys before agreeing a permanent move to Cardiff City in the summer of 2012. He remained at the club for seven-and-a-half years, playing 79 games and scoring seven goals.
He enjoyed two loan spells while at Cardiff, at Brentford and Barnsley respectively. In total across those stints he netted twice in 24 appearances before a switch to Sheffield Wednesday in July of 2019. He spent two years at Hillsborough and made 88 appearances, netting three goals.
He left Wednesday in the summer of 2021 and signed for Metalist Kharkiv in Ukraine. He then went on to feature for Turkish sides, Samsunspor and Bandırmaspor.
In November 2024, Kadeem returned to England and signed for Carlisle United on a short-term deal before he agreed to sign for Salford last summer. He made 27 appearances and scored four goals, coming off the bench in the play-off final at Wembley against Notts County last month.
Speaking to the club's media team he said: "I have met all the staff, they have been really welcoming. The stadium is lovely and I am looking forward to getting started. I know the manager well, I played with him for a season. I know Dobbo [Richard Dobson] too and we've all got a really good relationship."
An interview with the player will be available in due course.
