James Brophy's stunning solo effort against Rochdale last month is among the nominees for the Sky Bet League 2 September Goal of the Month award.
Brophy, who scored twice at Spotland on September 5 in a 4-1 victory, picked up the ball just inside his own half and drove forward, getting past one defender before then finding his way beyond four others inside the penalty area before applying a cool finish from close range.
He also scored against Bristol Rovers two weeks later in a game that finished 3-0.
James is one of four players to have been nominated. The full list is as follows:
Harrison Biggins – Salford City v NEWPORT COUNTY – 1st September
When Biggins broke up a Salford attack on the edge of his own area and then jinked his way into space, no-one expected him to shoot from 70 yards, let alone judge it so exquisitely.
James Brophy – Rochdale v GILLINGHAM – 5th September
Brophy was just inside his own half when he collected the ball. What followed was a blur of motion, feints and dazzling footwork that proved too much for seven Rochdale players to stop.
Alex Newby – YORK CITY v Swindon Town – 12th September
It is one thing to time a 25-yard shot so sweetly that it flies into the opposite corner of the net, quite another to do it in the way Newby did with the ball bouncing awkwardly towards him.
Joe Powell – Rotherham United v SALFORD CITY – 12th September
Powell managed one goal for Rotherham in 76 league appearances. On his first return as a Salford player, his matched that tally with a venomous 30-yard strike that flew to its target.
Fans are invited to vote for their favourite goal on EFL.com before 5pm on Monday 12 October.
The supporters' votes will be combined with the choices from a panel to determine the winners.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL experts Don Goodman & David Prutton.
