Robbie McKenzie has signed a new two-year contract extension which will keep him at MEMS Priestfield Stadium until the summer of 2027.

The 26-year-old, who first arrived at the Gills in the summer of 2020 has, in total, made 193 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals.

He won the Players' Player of the Year at our recent end of season awards dinner, and also won "Goal of the Season" for his superb strike away at Walsall.

During the 2024/25 campaign he made 40 appearances, scoring six times.

He becomes the second player to extend their deals at ME7, with Glenn Morris having also put pen to paper on a one-year deal.

On signing his contract, Robbie said: "I am pleased to get it done. I am really happy here, I am settled and I feel like the future is going to be bright so I wanted to be a part of that."

A full interview with Robbie will be available on the club website in due course.
