Over 500 people were at Martyn Grove as Gills slip to a narrow 1-0 defeat at Lordswood.
An early first-half goal from Lordswood proved enough to seal a 1-0 victory over a Gills XI at Martyn Grove on Tuesday evening.
Donell Sama pounced on a loose ball just outside the box on six minutes, with Gills unable to clear their lines on a few occasions, and Sama's strike found its way through a number of players before striking the back of the net.
Sam Gale, Alex Giles, Ike Orji, Josh Chambers and Harry Bridle all started the game and progressively began to show their dominance in possession, but were unable to clear many clear cut chances.
Just after the half an hour mark Josh Bayliss tried his luck from 20 yards, but his effort was straight at Ivor Williams. A couple of minutes later and Williams was well placed once more to save Josh Chambers' free-kick.

The visitors were much brighter following the interval, and the introduction of Kai Garrett seemed to spark Gills into life. On 53 minutes Chambers struck the left hand post with a precise shot, the ball was kept alive and fed to Bayliss inside the box but his shot was put over the bar.
On the hour and it was Garrett who nearly forced an equalizer when he wriggled through a couple of challenges and advanced on goal. His left footed shot was powerful but Williams made a great one handed stop.
Ten minutes later and Sithole cut inside from the right, his defender barged into him although not enough contact was made for a foul. The ball ran nicely for Garrett but his left footed shot was struck over.
In the final moments of the fixture, Ike Orji tried his luck from range. The keeper spilled the shot, but gathered at the second attempt.
