The club can confirm that Ashley Maynard-Brewer's emergency loan spell at MEMS Priestfield Stadium from Sheffield Wednesday has been extended.
Ash arrived on loan from Hillsborough late last week and made his Gills debut in the home defeat to Walsall on August 15.
This deal has now been extended, meaning the former Charlton and Dundee United goalkeeper will be eligible for Saturday's game at Fleetwood Town in Sky Bet League 2.
