Gareth Ainsworth has made his first signing as Gillingham manager with the capture of Sebastian Palmer-Houlden from Bristol City.
The 21-year-old striker arrives at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee. *
Seb has been at Ashton Gate since he was eight years old but made his competitive debut while on loan at Yeovil in the National League in February 2023. The following season he spent on loan with Newport County, scoring nine times in 42 appearances.
Last summer he went out on loan again, this time to Dundee in the Scottish Premier League. While at Dens Park, the forward netted nine goals in 39 outings.
On signing his deal, Seb said: "I am so excited to be here and I can't wait for the season to start and get going.
"I like to get fans off their seats, I like to press high, get in behind and score goals. I am looking forward to meeting the boys."
Manager, Gareth Ainsworth, said: "Seb is a player we have been looking at for a while now and there was a lot of competition for his signature.
"We managed to sort everything quickly and I am delighted to have him with us. He has a bright future in the game, he's quick, hardworking, and knows where the goal is. I think all Gills fans will enjoy watching him."
*The deal is subject to EFL/FA ratification. Seb will officially join the club on June 1 following conclusion of loan deal at Dundee.
