Gareth Ainsworth has added a defender to his squad with the capture of Conor McManus from Brentford for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old could make his competitive debut in this Saturday's Carabao Cup tie at home to Luton Town.
Conor is a former Republic of Ireland U21 international and began his grassroots career with Cabinteely FC before signing for Bray Wanderers.
He signed for Brentford in December 2022 and mainly played at left-back, however he can play anywhere across the back line.
Speaking to Gills TV he said: "I am delighted to be here, it is somewhere I want to be and I'm looking forward to the season ahead.
"I am energetic, willing to work hard and am someone young and hungry. It's a really good group of lads and I'm ready to go. This is probably, physically, the best I have felt going into any season."
An interview with the player will be available in due course.
